International Grant Writer & Crowdfunding Manager

Type: Unpaid Internship


  • Identify and apply for grants internationally which are aligned with the mission and vision of Nomadic School.

  • Write compelling proposals incorporating the inputs and advice from other team members at Nomadic School.

  • Find ways to be approved for European Union based grants as it relates to education (e.g. Erasmus+ KA 1, Erasmus+ KA 2, Nord Plus)

  • Initiate and manage the crowdfunding campaign from start to finish.

  • Collaborate closely with the director of Nomadic School in the grant writing and crowdfunding process.

  • Compile a “lessons learnt” document for effective ongoing fundraising. 

NOTE: You can do this internship from anywhere in the world.


  • Entrepreneurial

  • Understand the essence of what Nomadic School’s educational program is about and how it can be aligned to the requirements of various grants and philanthropic
    foundations aimed at improving society and education.

2 to 4 hours per day, 2 to 4 days per week. Length of internship is between 2 months to 1 year. The duration, regularity, and timing of the internship can all be negotiated. Work is results oriented rather than time oriented. I give a fair amount of flexibility, so students can benefit from this internship even they are going to school full-time or have another job.
