Prosocial behaviors can promote a meaningful life

This research explores the relationship between prosocial behaviors and finding meaning in life. The participants engaged in actions that were helpful to others, including volunteering and spending money on others. The findings concluded that the participants who engaged in helping others felt a greater meaning in their lives. Some participants even felt an increased sense of worth and self-esteem after giving, further increasing the sense of purpose in their lives.
